Kelley O’Brien never met a sports analogy she didn’t like. In many ways, she has built her career around them: knowing the value of practice and perseverance; recruiting the right players and creating a winning line up; and, ultimately, putting the ball in play and getting it across the line. 

With 25 years of experience in sales, sales management, leadership and coaching, Kelley has worked in companies ranging just a few employees to $10+ billion in sales. She’s held titles such as sales manager, project manager, consultant, trainer and sales representative – to name a few – in healthcare, IT, manufacturing, construction and many other industries. In her previous roles, as well as in her work as consultant to dozens of small- to mid-sized businesses, Kelley has helped drive positive change and growth for businesses across the Midwest and throughout the United States. 

No matter the size, geographic location or industry, and regardless of role or title, Kelley brings grit, intuition and tenacity to every opportunity she undertakes. This broad and deep professional foundation led her to officially launch O’Brien Consulting in 2022. 

A graduate of Clemson University, a dedicated personal training participant, a lover of time in the great outdoors and, most importantly, a proud mom to son Kian, Kelley approaches every project with the energy and expertise required to get the job done. While she works regionally and nationally, she lives, works, and plays from her home base in Madison, Wisconsin.
